Morpheus8The slow lift, told over three sessions.

What it is

The treatment, explained without jargon.

Morpheus8 marries microneedling with radiofrequency. Two dozen ultra-fine needles deliver heat into the dermis at depths from 1 to 4 millimeters. The controlled injury triggers your body's healing response, new collagen, new elastin, and the radiofrequency reshapes the deeper structural layer at the same time.

We treat in a series of three sessions, four to six weeks apart. Results build progressively over 90 days. It is the closest non-surgical approximation to a mild facelift and, unlike laser, it is safe on every skin tone we see at Halewood.

What it treats

Concerns this is the answer for.

  • Skin laxity at the jawline and lower face
  • Acne scarring across multiple shapes
  • Enlarged pores and uneven texture
  • Fine lines and mild static wrinkles
  • Postpartum body laxity at 6 months postpartum

What to expect

Your visit, in three steps.

  1. 45 min

    Numbing

Topical lidocaine applied generously. We use a stronger compounded formula than most clinics.

  2. 30 to 45 min

    Treatment

Dr. Wren adjusts depth per zone (deeper at jawline, shallower along cheek). The sensation is pressure with heat, not sharpness.

  3. 3 to 5 days

    Recovery

Pinpoint redness and mild swelling for 24 to 72 hours, then a sandpaper texture for 2 to 3 days as skin renews.

Aftercare

The next 24 to 72 hours.

  • Occlusive moisturizer for the first 24 hours
  • Mineral sunscreen only for 7 days, SPF 30 or higher
  • No actives (retinoids, AHAs, vitamin C) for 7 days
  • No exercise or heat for 48 hours
  • Results build over 90 days as collagen forms

Morpheus8 questions

Common questions, honest answers.

  • Microneedling stops at the surface. Morpheus8 adds radiofrequency heat that reaches the structural layer where laxity actually lives. About four times more effective per session, based on the published data.
