Dermal Filler

Volume, where there used to be volume.

Hyaluronic-acid filler placed where the face has thinned: cheek apex, tear-trough, jawline, lip border. Conservative artistry, no overcorrection.

Dermal FillerVolume, where there used to be volume.

What it is

The treatment, explained without jargon.

Hyaluronic acid filler is the same molecule your skin makes to hold water and structure. We inject it where time has taken volume away: the apex of the cheek, the orbital rim, the corner of the jaw. The result is immediate and lasts 12 to 18 months depending on the area.

Halewood is conservative on filler. Most patients leave with one syringe distributed across the regions we agreed on at consultation. You should look like yourself, rested. If a second syringe is genuinely needed, we book it for the 2-week follow-up after the first one has settled.

What it treats

Concerns this is the answer for.

  • Midface volume restoration
  • Tear-trough hollowing
  • Lip definition with measured restraint
  • Nasolabial softening
  • Jaw contour and chin projection

What to expect

Your visit, in three steps.

  1. 30 min

    Consultation and mapping

We assess proportions, map injection sites, and agree on syringe count before anything is opened.

  2. 30 to 45 min

    Treatment

Topical numbing for 20 minutes, then injection with cannula or fine needle depending on area. Pressure rather than pain.

  3. Complimentary follow-up

    Two-week reveal

Swelling resolves over 7 to 14 days. We assess settled results and recommend refinements only when honestly needed.

Aftercare

The next 24 to 72 hours.

  • Ice the area 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off for 2 hours
  • Sleep elevated for the first 2 nights
  • No exercise or heat for 24 hours
  • Mild swelling and possible bruising for 24 to 72 hours
  • No dental work for 2 weeks

Is this for me?

Who it works for — and who it doesn't.

Good fit

  • Adults 28 to 65 with structural volume loss
  • Subtle natural enhancement with single-syringe approach
  • Pre-event preparation 4 or more weeks out
  • Patients seeking correction without surgery

Not a fit

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding patients
  • Active skin infection or cold sore at site
  • Recent or upcoming dental work within 2 weeks
  • Autoimmune flare

Dermal Filler questions

Common questions, honest answers.

  • Not when dosed correctly. Most patients leave with one syringe across the agreed regions. You will look rested. People often think you slept well.
