Botox is a purified neuromodulator (botulinum toxin type A) that quietly relaxes the muscles responsible for dynamic facial lines, the ones that appear when you frown, raise your brows, or smile. The molecule blocks a single signal between nerve and muscle. Three to four months later it has cleared the body completely.

At Halewood, the dose is always smaller than the chart suggests. We adjust per face, per asymmetry, per goal. A first session usually uses fewer units than you would receive elsewhere because we want to see how your muscles respond before treating the second region. That is the practice, in miniature.

    Treatment

    Fine needle, light pressure, a series of small pinches. You can return to your day without a trace.

  3. Complimentary

    Two-week follow-up

    We adjust at no charge if anything needs softening or strengthening. Photo-documented.

Aftercare

The next 24 to 72 hours.

  • Stay upright for 4 hours after injection
  • No exercise, sauna, or facial massage for 24 hours
  • Avoid alcohol and blood thinners for 24 hours
  • Results begin around day 3 and peak at day 14
  • Expect 3 to 4 months of duration on average
